Arphul Adu Stephen, a Deputy NDC Bono Regional Communications Officer Aspirant, says he is determined to use strategic communications to consolidate the gains of the governing party in the Bono Region.

He makes the point that effective communication is key in ensuring that the achievements of the government and the NDC are projected in the region and other parts of the country.

Ahead of the NDC's internal elections to elect national and regional executives, Arphul Adu Stephen says there is a need to also scale up grassroots mobilisation as the party seeks to cement its grounds.

"For the NDC in Bono Region, the value of a Deputy Communications Officer would ultimately be measured not by the number of interviews secured or the sharpness of individual exchanges, but by the contribution made to a more informed, coordinated, credible, and effective communications team," he said in a statement.

Arphul Stephen said his record presents the profile of a political organiser who has progressed through student leadership, constituency executive responsibilities, and campaign management.

He says his aspiration to become Deputy Bono Regional Communication Officer comes at a time when political communication requires more than eloquence.

"It demands intellectual preparation, strategic coordination, media awareness, and the ability to explain difficult issues without losing the audience.

"In a political environment where many compete to be heard, Arphul Stephen's proposition is that the communicator who thinks clearly, speaks deliberately, and argues convincingly can make an impact without having to be the loudest voice in the room.

"For the NDC in Bono Region, my candidacy presents an opportunity to consider a communication approach built on preparation, precision, organisation, and substance," he said.
