Didi Dramani commends medical team for swift response to Solomon Agbasi's concussion

Hearts of Oak head coach Didi Dramani has praised the club's medical team for their quick and effective response after goalkeeper Solomon Agbasi suffered a concussion during Sunday's Ghana Premier League match against Young Apostles.

Agbasi was concussed in stoppage time after making what appeared to be a routine save. He received emergency treatment on the pitch before being transported by ambulance to a clinic at the Accra Sports Stadium.

Speaking after the match, Dramani expressed gratitude for the medical staff's professionalism.

"The medics responded to the situation quite well and on time, so he was revived in no time," Dramani said.

The coach also confirmed that Agbasi is now in a stable condition and under medical surveillance, explaining why he was not present for post-match duties.

"He could not come to the post-match conference because it was too soon for him. You cannot underrate these things. You think you are fine, but you really need to be monitored for a while."

Agbasi, who has made 11 appearances for Hearts this season as second-choice goalkeeper, will continue to be closely monitored as the club prioritises his recovery.

A concussion is a mild traumatic brain injury caused by a bump or jolt to the head that causes the brain to move rapidly inside the skull, leading to temporary symptoms such as confusion, headaches, dizziness, and memory loss.
