Cape Verde goalkeeper Josimar Dias, popularly known as Vozinha, has seen his popularity soar after his outstanding performance against Spain.

The veteran goalkeeper has reached one million followers on Instagram after the match.

The 40-year-old shot-stopper was the star of Cape Verde's historic World Cup debut on Monday, producing a string of crucial saves to help his side secure a memorable 0-0 draw against the former world champions.

Before the match, Vozinha reportedly had around 50,000 followers on the social media platform. However, his heroics against Spain quickly captured the attention of football fans around the world, leading to a massive increase in followers within hours of the final whistle.
