The 25-year-old centre-back says he is prepared to serve the country whenever his services are needed, following his impressive performances for the Phobians in the 2026/27 Ghana Premier League season.

Asibey has been a key figure in Hearts of Oak’s defensive setup, helping the club maintain a strong backline as they push for success in the league.

His performances have also earned him three consecutive NASCO Man of the Match awards in games against Vision FC, Port City FC and Basake Holy Stars.

Speaking after Hearts of Oak’s victory over Basake Holy Stars on Friday, October 23, the defender reaffirmed his commitment to the national team.

“As long as I am a citizen of the Republic of Ghana, I am ready, whenever the nation needs my services, I’ll come and serve the nation very well,” Asibey said.

The Black Stars are preparing for a must-win double-header against Somalia on November 12 and 16 in the 2027 AFCON qualifiers, with Asibey hoping his performances at club level will earn him a call-up to represent Ghana.
