MultiChoice Nigeria, a CANAL+ company, has introduced new subscription packages for its DStv and GOtv platforms to broaden its offerings and improve subscribers’ viewing experience.

The company unveiled the packages at an event held on Wednesday at The Royal Box, Victoria Island, Lagos. Media professionals, industry stakeholders, partners and other guests attended the event to witness the unveiling and learn about the updated subscription options.

The new arrangement, which takes effect on 5 November, brings SuperSport KICKOFF and Africa Magic+ to the lower subscription tiers. According to MultiChoice, the additions will give more households across the country access to football and Nigerian drama.

Under the revised arrangement, DStv subscribers can choose from four packages: Starter, Select, Sports and Premium. GOtv customers, meanwhile, will have access to Easy, Starter, Select and Sports.

Subscribers on DStv’s ₦6,000 Starter package will enjoy SuperSport KICKOFF and Africa Magic+. In contrast, the ₦21,000 Sports package will cover every Premier League and Champions League fixture, alongside WWE and UFC content.
